Description
"Barbot Establissement di Paris" Silk String clock. The stamp also has "Establissement di Paris" in it. The bell striking movement with a porcelain dial is marked "Roger A. Marseille". The gilt figure of a lady with a book is posed as if she scratched "France" above the dial on a dark surface. The case is dark green and black marble with gilt bronze and a wood base. The clock is running and striking the half hour at this time. (The dial is fractured.) Dial - 3 1/2" Diameter; Case - 14" Tall x 13" Wide
