Description
The Marque mark includes an "M" in a wreath, with Depose and No. 2184 nearby. It has a bell strike with 1/2 hour strike movement. The green onyx case is topped with a spelter figure of Hermes. The clock does run and strike. (The clock runs and strikes for a while, then it stops. The case has hairlines below and to the right of the dial. The figure has been repainted.) Dial - 3 1/2" Diameter; Case - 21 1/2" Tall The collection's appraiser relates the Marque mark to Japy Freres.
