Description
Seth Thomas clock works attached to a brass drum; used to transmit information somewhere; attached to a cast iron base; marked "Julien P. Friez, Baltimore, Maryland Belfort Observatory" on movement and 3 other parts, plus underneath on base is Friez's Balt. MD. U.S.A.; stenciled decoration on the base, plus a 1/2 round wood hatch with peep holes that fits over the movement. Base is 15 3/4" x 13 3/8"
