the gold leaf on the case was restored perhaps 40 years ago, and with some wear. The old dial pan may be original with numerals restored some time ago and a bit fat for the era. Bottom tablet is old, showing a young girl with her sheep, and with considerable border flaking, and some flaking in the scene; throat tablet painted later to match. Ht 40"
