larger is 8 day Seth Thomas, Thomaston, mahogany in old finish, with ST hands, good paper label, old mirror tablet, and painted metal dial with some flaking and inpainting, 16" high. Smaller and better is Welch Spring and Co. 30 hour gilt column, rosewood in old finish, with alarm, very good gilding, paper label, and multi color painted metal dial, 14" high. Both movements tick and strike but may need cleaning.
