Description

This rosewood case is 23" high, in overall near perfect condition. The black and gold label inside is very near perfect and bright. Great bottom glass with painting of shepherd boy and his sheep, ducks, and his dog. Both glasses have the old putty, doors have the original latches, great hands and an original painted dial that is also near perfect. It has had a half dozen chips painted over so you can hardly tell. Old brass bob, winding key, and a signed 8 day time only movement. They do not come much nicer. Another clock from the northeast collection of near perfect clocks. LyWelch, page 116. Read the story there of the overpasted label in this clock.
