Description

I do not see the identical clock in the New Haven books, just some very similar chime clocks, the closest to this one is the "Orleans", same size, almost 20" long, 10" high. It is a rather plain case, no frills, has a chip off the bottom left side molding. Bowed and beveled glass in the brass sash, signed silver dial has a little wear around the winding arbors, and the hands are correct. Round, signed 8 day movement fitted with full Westminster Chimes that strike five rods on quarter hours and hours. Ly-New Haven, page 100.
