Description
In 1885 winding the clock before going to bed would be the equivalent of watching the news on TV, today. You wouldn't want it to stop during the night for you would never know the time. This is a small black walnut case, only 17.5" high, but it is clean and complete. Original glass, pendulum, dial, hands, gong, and the brass one day movement. It is running and striking. Ly-New Haven No. 1308.
