Description

The complete and original label on the back of the case names this clock, "Egyptian No. 58". It is pictured in Ly-Gilbert No. 1207, and named "Pattern No 161 - Author Sets", does not mention Egyptian. This is a very large appearing case, standing almost 24" high, and as you can see it looks wide and bulky. The finish is very dark, smoky and crusty, all original and in good condition other than the finish. The dial is a replaced paper, other wise all the other parts are original, including the glass, pendulum, gong, hands, rings, and the alarm movement and bell. The running movement is 8 day, hour and half hour striking movement. Ly-Gilbert No. 1207.
