Description
I suppose it could be English. The case is walnut, stands 18.5" high, is very clean and complete, has no problems now or in the past. Another near perfect Long Island clock. Finials, other turnings and some brass ornaments. Whoops, I bragged too soon. There is a small strip or molding missing across the base just under the dial. It has a very nice brass dial, recessed numerals, a fancy cast inner dial, original hands, and a flat glass in the brass sash. Latching back door has cutouts and cloth covering. Inside is a standing coil gong, brass bob, and a solid plate 8 day movement. It is running and striking properly.
