Description
Good paint on the iron case, gold in incised designs over the front. Some paint chips on the front base, otherwise good. Case is 10.5" high and 9.5" wide. Flat glass in the brass sash, two piece paper dial and correct hands. Advertising on the dial says, "I. Lewkowitz / Manufacturing Jeweler / 290 Grand St.". Correct metal back cover, proper pendulum, earlier models strike on an iron bell rather than a gong. Signed 8 day movement is running. Ly-Ansonia No. 1128.
