Description

The finish on the metal has worn some but does not look bad. It is complete, but there have been some light repairs, soldering, etc. where parts came loose. It has a good beveled glass and sash, French hands, and a one piece porcelain dial. There are some tiny chips around the winding arbors. There is no door or glass over the back opening. The 8 day silk thread movement is signed, "Japy Freres", it has an outside count wheel, and strikes on a bell. The pendulum for the silk thread movement is a homemade job and should be replaced. A winding key is with the clock.
