Description

The glass over the painting is intact. Painting is outstanding, good bright colors showing the hunters and their dogs. Excellent gold around the painting, good dial and old hands. The hinges on the front door both need a pin, now held with wire. The box behind the picture frame houses the spring driven movement, no doubt just a one day runner. Note the correct pendulum in the picture. Usually these are weight driven; this rare one is time and strike, spring driven. Wood plates, brass gears, and coil gong behind the movement. The movement box has latches to open the sides. There is paper on the back. I doubt it is a label for I cannot read a word.
