Carved top, carved columns, and carving on the base. Three good glasses, large porcelain RA pendulum bob, two piece porcelain dial, and original hands. It is hard telling how many RA's I have sold and seen in 35 years of selling, but this is the first one day, time only movement I have come across. It may be difficult for us to understand today why someone would make a one day time only movement. I suspect it was probably much cheaper to make than an 8 day movement. This walnut case is 33.5" high, complete, not polished and extra nice, but very adequate for what it is.
