Description

In a nickel coated case, seems to be a cheaper nickel plating that I noticed on some of the previous cases, slightly pitted from salt spray no doubt. The case is 7" across the back and top, 4" deep, and the visible portion of the nickel dial is 5.5". Painted numerals, not recessed, signed by Seth Thomas, original hands, strike silent lever on the dial and the slow/fast adjuster. The movement is running and striking ships bells on the half hours. The top is hinged on the right, has a simple clip lid. It does not seem to be a sea worthy clock. Screen in the bottom for sound release, another reason it is not a ships clock.
