Description
Good original case, aged and darkened some, good paint, case would brighten up with some light cleaning. Lamp post is complete, four glasses, metal top. The movement is mechanically fine, it is also a little dirty, and the original bellows appears brittle and should be restored. The battery box underneath holds two D batteries for the lamp, there is no cover over the battery box. The Whistler is a tad over 19" high. The movement is signed, "Germany". We have sold several of the Whistlers over the years, the better ones bringing near $500.
