Description

The hardware is contrasting yellow gold and nickel plating. It appears at the casual look to be covered with a plastic coating because it shines and is very smooth. The clock runs on its own weight. There are no springs to wind. You merely lift the clock to the top of the metal guide and it slowly slides down the guide using its own weight to power it. When it gets to the bottom or at anytime you wish, merely lift it up again. It has a porcelain dial almost 4" in diameter with Arabic numerals. The movement is a platform escapement and is running.
