Description
Neither is the dial or pendulum hanger. The previous owner of the clock said the back of the dial is signed, "Guttuinun/Bapun Denca/ 463836". I did not attempt to verify that he was correct. It is a super nice mid size, walnut Vienna case. There are some excellent carved pieces, good stylish finials, and excellent case style. Small brass weight, brass pendulum ball, brass pulley, and brass dial rings. It has a two piece porcelain dial and porcelain beat scale, and a pair of typical Vienna hands, all excellent. The 41" high walnut case is superb, clean, polished, and ready to hang and enjoy. The brass movement is mounted to a wood base that slides into wood mounting blocks. They do not come much nicer than this one, and it is running.
