Description
This is a rare model you almost never see. I may have sold one other sometime back. The case is 18.5" high, hand carved of mahogany, unusual tassel finial on the bottom. The bottom door has gold trim that matches the tassel, it is hinged on the bottom, latches just below the dial. You can see the complete paper label thru the glass. Original dial pan with a replaced paper dial that is signed and would look original if aged. The hands, pendulum, both glasses, and latches are all original. Old winding key inside. The 8 day movement is signed, running, and striking a chime rod as designed. Ly-New Haven No. 586.
