Description

Packaged in a black molded bakelite case, 10" in diameter, and has a black 8" dial with etched numerals. I suspect the hands, numerals, and dots are made for nighttime viewing on the ship. The case is hinged on the left, said to be dust proof and moisture proof, and has screw down lock on the right side. The flange is pierced for screws to attach to a wall. If this is the model I believe it to be, it has an 8 day, 11-jeweled lever, time movement No. 5160, machine cut wheels and pinions, and sweep seconds hand with non magnetic Breguet type hairspring and compensated escapement. Ly-Seth Thomas No. 2658.
