Description

Original 37" oak case is crusty, probably never cleaned. Excellent label on the back. Barley twist columns, ripple molding around the door, top and base. A gang of good wood work, carvings, applied decorations, and turnings galore, and it is all original. The brass bob, wood stick, gong, dial rings, and hands, are all correct for the clock. The only negative thing I see about the clock is the old paper dial. It is, and has been, deteriorating and definitely needs attention, either new paper of have it painted. Signed 8 day movement, strikes the Cathedral gong on the hours. Spend a little on the dial and you will have a very nice clock. Ly-Gilbert No. 391.
