Description
I thought this was a reproduction case until I saw the three good labels on the back, and all the internal parts, i.e. the three (3) movements, Cathedral gong, and the dial pans and rings. I will quit there with the good parts. This clock was cleaned down to bare oak. As usual he put no finish back on the wood. The dial papers, hands, pendulum, and door glass, are all replacements. You have a lot of the old original clock to start with, so with a little patience you can bring this one back to being a presentable and valuable calendar clock. The running movement is 8 day, half hour gong strike, with a calendar movement, and alarm movement, all clean and functioning. LyWaterbury No. 284; Ly-Calendar No. 709.
