Description
We have had a half dozen of this type with different figures on top. This one with a dog on top is definitely all original. The metal case is 17" high, has an original gilt finish that is excellent. If it was regilted, it was a long time ago, and would pass for an original finish. All the parts are original, four beveled glasses and only one with a tiny corner nick. One piece porcelain dial has minute marks outside the numerals and it has the correct hands. There is a faint hairline on the dial. The movement is 8 day, clean, signed, running, and has a correct imitation mercury pendulum and key.
