Description

This rare clock is all original including the crusty finish. No attempt has been made to clean off the accumulated crazing. It is very dark from 100 plus years of smoke and other household pollutants. It looks clean, is not dirty, and is ready to hang and enjoy if you do not wish to rub it down. We feel everything about the clock is original including the case, signed dial, hands, brass weights, weight pulleys, signed porcelain beat scale, signed winding key, correct brass bob and wood stick, door glass, key lock, and key. The 8 day brass time only movement is powered by two brass weights, and it is running. It has dead beat escapement, retaining power, and is a good timekeeper. LyWaterbury No. 564.
