Description

The mahogany case is 23" in diameter and has a large and very nice 18" painted metal dial. The wood bezel is hinged at the top and is holding a good old glass. Behind the glass is an excellent original painted metal dial and three original hands. The dial is signed, "Ansonia / Thirty Day / The Ansonia Clock Co. Manufacturers in U.S.A." The large 30 day movement is signed, it is double spring, pendulum, time only, and in good running condition. There is an opening at the base to access the pendulum. I am not sure if there was a hinged door there originally, but it seems logical there would have been. There is an old brass bob and winding key in the case. LyAnsonia No. 676.
