Description

This model is very rare and hardly comes up for sale. We saw where one sold at a live auction recently for $18,000. This fine looking oak case is 49" high, has the original finish with a light crust on the wood. The case is near perfect. We found one tiny wood flake on the tail, otherwise the case is as nice as you would want. The door lock and other case hardware, the two dials, hands, and other parts are all original. There are some tiny paint flakes on the two dials, the calendar roller papers are original, same with the weight, beat scale, pendulum, stick, and the brass pulley. The 8 day movement and calendar movement are correct and operating properly. Ly-Seth Thomas, page 101.
