Description
They made this model either in solid oak, or like this one, cherry with a dark stain. I think the wood looks much better if it is cleaned and brought a little lighter. The case is fine with no damages, just a scratch in the finish on the right side of the base. This clock retains the distinctive Ithaca brass finials, pendulum and door latch. It has a good paper dial and the original hands. The movement is 8 day brass, spring driven with hour and half hour strike on a gong. It is running. Considering that it is an American antique tall case clock, these Ithacas are really a bargain for the money. 7' 4" tall.
