Description
the mahogany and mahogany veneer case has been refinished; plinth with a horizontal split from dryness. The dial has had the numerals strengthened over the original and then coated with artist's fixative. The movement was cleaned and re-cabled a while ago and is still ticking and striking. Minute hand is repaired. Has two large iron weights, also an interesting tole painting across the hood, under the arch. Overall very good condition. Ht 86"
