Description
the case retains original finish, that has been French polished over to improve the appearance; the plinth has a horizontal dry split {not too bad}. The waist door lock is missing; hood door with pull knob. The dial has as seconds dial below 12 {second hand replaced} and a simple calendar aperture above 6. There are two birds in trees painted in the center of the dial. The moon dial and floral spandrels are original; the Roman numerals and moon indications have been re-blacked. Ht 92"
