Description
the strike hammer is off and needs fitting. There is some wear to the painted decorations. The ormolu has been well cast and nicely chased, and has a good coating of gold. Porcelain dial is xlnt. The pendulum is a plated white metal replacement, and with one ray of the sun broken off. A better pendulum could be bought in France. Don't lose the extra large key, unique to this mov't. Note the old bracket is much wider than the foot spread of the clock, may be a replacement; it has been re-painted /restored top board, and has modern wall attachment hardware. Total ht 50"
