a minor item need attention: the spiral gong came loose from its brass base. Note also that the rosewood veneered base was orignally made to receive a large oval dome, and that the current glass cover sets on the first step of the base. Otherwise this is in exceptional original condition, and we have never seen a depiction of Reims Cathedral in such fine detail, nor as impressive as this. A couple of spires rattled loose in shipment and will need tightening. Ht of clock on base = 28", with cover = 31"
