the very top (half inch) of the top is broken away and missing; otherwise this clock is in excellent original condition. Dial is good; spade hands appear original, as is pend. On the glass, "the Jeweler" is inside the glass and appears quite old, while, the name STARR, is on the outside and appears to have been added later. See Ly's Welch book (1992), page 132.
