Description
the glass from lower left panel is missing. Nice early pendulum has brass on both sides, rear piece attached with 2 screws; the impulse plate is newly made to fit the crutch on this movement. movement with 5 wheels in train, winds to the left, with heavy dial plate and cast bezel with engine-turned pattern. The case craftsman has carefully made two new wall stabilizers, darkened to appear old, and the rear strap for hanging the clock is an old piece. All in all a very well made clock. Hood slides forward on 2 dovetails for service, hood-door is hinged for winding. An original clock of this type would probably sell for around $25,000. Height 37 inches
