movements are clean and operating ok. The dial has a major hurt at 9 o'clock, a chip in the porcelain, with radiating cracks. The top urn assembly is loose. Calendar hands are advanced from the rear (note this is a simple calendar requiring setting at the end of every month) rear door with a glass panel afford visibility of both movement and calendar. An interesting calendar clock. Height 18.5 inches
