overall fair to good condition. The biggest obstacle is that someone started to strip off the shellac with alcohol, then stopped, leaving the doors shellacked shut. We used a razor and got both doors open, but the refinishing needs to carried to completion. Dial corners ok, chapter poorly re-painted. The original painted dial has loss at the attaching areas. Door lower tablet and dial surround are original and good; background needs re-newing. Label is dark, with loss, but you can make out "Atkins Clo" ok. Minute hand changed; too short. Height 17 inches
