Description

there are extra holes in the case back evidencing a change of movement at some time, there are filled worm holes, especially in the right column and the case has been painted black to cover up the damage and replaced moldings. The movement is very nice, a low serial number, very likely an unsigned bottom mount Becker, as the bridges, though hand made, are of the shape and size of later Becker stamped parts. The porcelain dial is good with one hairline through 7, otherwise fine and with good, original hands. Height 49 inches
