generally sound and running. This cabinet maker may not have been a clock person, buy he knew what he liked and chose some very attractive tigered veneer to cover the plywood carcass. His joints are tight, and he strung with a darker wood at all seams. Gong is screwed to the rear door. Movement is attached to the composite dial which gives the appearance of an 18th century clock with a 19th C beveled glass door. Brass chapter ring is engraved and black wax is failing. Height 15.5 inches
