Description
this is a tough clock to figure. The pendulum length is about right for it to keep approximate time, And the unusual motif shows a compass over a globe, with equatorial bands. The problem is, you can not wind the clock without dis-engaging the pendulum and tilting the globe upward to expose the winding arbor. Most French clocks are better designed than this.
