Description

Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in clean condition with restoration to the veneer on the base. Painted dial is very clean with some minor loss at the mounting pins. Although the dial is the correct size and style for this case, there are small holes just above the mounting pins for which there is no corresponding hole in the side stile. Hands are original. Bottom tablet is a replacement. Center tablet looks to be original with restoration. Hands are period, but not the type found on a Forestville. Fairly clean label inside case. Nice lyre movement (same as lot 162). Ht. 31.5"
