Description
Condition: overall very good to excellent condition. The mahogany veneer is very colorful; there have been some small veneer repairs and a couple of corner splits filled in, well done. Most of the finish is still original. The dial is original. Gilt dial surround is restored. The robust 8-day movement is typical of what is found in a tall clock, and has recently been re-strung and is running briskly, powered by two brass covered weights (some minor rust on arbors). Very uncommon. Ht 68"
