Description
Condition: the robust movement ticks and chimes, however the oil has gone dark and will need service soon. The dial has lost some of its black wax and brass is showing through in a couple of places. Hands, pendulum, gongs, door locks and all case hardware are original on this. Oak case has been nicely rubbed out and waxed over old finish; cornice moldings have been re-glued and doweled in place. A heavy and well made clock . Carving on bracket front matches case. Ht of clock = 19.5", overall = 32"
