Description
Condition: Old oak case is in generally good shape, with some deteriorated veneer on the sides that has been sanded and shellacked over; some bits missing at bottom edge. The small oak trim piece in front of the bottom bracket has been replaced, not quite to scale. Original painted dial has some fading and wear to the numbers at around 10 o'clock. Hands and pendulum are original. Note the movement is identical to the one illustrated in Ly's Seth Thomas book, [3rd Ed], page 320, large No. 40, double wind, 15-day.
