Description
Condition: These rare clocks were apparently a short production run on special order, as we do not find them in the catalogs. Harvey Webber has 1 in his collection, and we tended to see them for sale 35 years ago, while currently they seldom turn up. The "theater style" case houses two movements. The lower is a regular pendulum striking movement that trips a separate movement above that causes the skeleton figure to perform acrobatics. Both movements are assembled from the same New Haven plate blanks, but with different trains. The case may have been painted at one time, but has been a natural finish for a long time. Ht 19.5"
