Description

The dial is signed "Made for Charles H. Belledeu, 1912, by W. W. Dinsmoor". Mr Dinsmore met with some struggles in finishing this, and has several extra holes in the drum from trying to get the movement in the right place. His weight is a bit thick for the thin case he fashioned, and had to put in a metal baffle to hold the weight back from the pendulum; you still have to pull the top of the clock out a quarter inch to get it to run. And his last error was in making the drum too small for the dial pan as it hangs over the edge about 1/16 all the way around. Has a good look and finish. Height 40 inches
