Description

Condition: this is a Mass or Attleboro area banjo of mahogany that probably had black and gold tablets to start. Along the line, someone has had a set of Howard style glasses painted for the clock. The dial is a replacement. The case has been nicely restored, the workman careful not to remove the repair label for a "Lewis" former worker at Tiffany. Note interesting case construction with throat on hinges; easy to remove weight. Original movement has been idle for 20 years but is still running. Height 29 inches
