Description
Condition: overall excellent, the one to own. This clock has the heavy Gilbert movement with embossed rear plate. The roof slides up and off for shipment. String runs from the movement to the bell and is worn, so bell barely moves [easy enough for a careful mechanic]. Original oxidized copper finish on the case is outstanding. The only thing that keeps the entire clock from being outstanding are some little bumps under the paper dial. For details on this model, see Ly's book on Gilbert Clocks, page 53. Height 11 inches
