Description
Condition: The case has its original finish and stenciling (columns in center only). The clock has an 8-day strap brass movement with roller pinions. The label is xlnt as is the wood dial. The middle tablet and lower mirror are old replacements and the middle tablet has a crack (and flaking). The best feature of this clock is its splat with the original stenciling: "Brass Clocks Made by C. and L.C. Ives". This very model, with identical splat and label is pictured in K. D. Roberts' book on Ives, page 99, fig 23A. Height 38 inches
