Description

Condition: although the case has been refinished, the veneer is excellent and the clock is otherwise in very good original condition, with original dial with small round glass center [replaced]..put there so the owner could show off his "Brass" movement clock with rack striking. Mov't bears serial number 4910, Geneva stops lacking The clock went without a top glass for some time and the dial has weathered/bubbled a bit, but is still well preserved. Examples of this model can be found in Ly's book titled American Clocks, Vol 3, page 31, and in Ken Roberts' book The Contributions of Joseph Ives to Connecticut Clock Technology 1810-1862, page 211.
