Description
Condition: this case has all the features one looks for in a Boston area clock: mahogany with crotch mahogany insets and satinwood banding, reeded columns with brass capitals and a delicate fret on the top. Foster chose a Federal style dial with US shields in the corners, and a light blue drape in the arch. This is serial number 1 of 2002. Foster made very few of this model; its sister selling at Skinners on Sept 18, 2008, lot 832. Height 50 inches
