Description

Condition: The gilt and black paint on the front of the clock has been restored, the inside of the case has black paint. The upper tablet and mirror are period/original. The upper tablet has had some white paint areas re-applied. The dial has its original paint and the hands are period. This maker used a set of guide wires to restrain the weight in the clock. These wires have been replaced and the weight is a replacement (does not run on the wires). The hands, pulley and pendulum are period/original. New Hampshire mirror clocks with original (uncracked) tablets are uncommon and this clock displays well. Height 30 inches
